Are you ready to Treat Your Meat?

Welcome to The Meat Platter. It's Juicy, Baby!

Well, well. Welcome! To our new newsletter, The Meat Platter! What’s The Meat Platter? Great question.

It’s a one-stop-shop for recipes, grilling content, music playlists for your everyday, helpful tips and tricks, like minded entrepreneurs and business owners; it’s grilling content, in lifestyle form, that’s easy to digest (fingers crossed). It’s a way for us, to engage with you, in a way that feels authentic, helpful, and most of all fun.

So, what’s cookin’ first? We are keeping it s.i.m.p.l.e. A quick tutorial on how to open a bag of charcoal (yes, a bag of charcoal). You’d be surprised how many folks don’t know how easy this actually is.

  1. Stand your bag upright so it’s easy to handle!

  2. Gently grab the sewed string and unravel it.

  3. You’ll find a small loop where the string is bound- take your time here! It’s a crucial step!

  4. Pull the string through the loop, again, gently! Easy does it.

  5. Watch the bag open right before your eyes.

See. Simple. But in case your a visual learner (like us), here’s a quick video. PS- while you’re here, hit that subscribe because we have some awesome content coming your way!

Next up, just some grilling tunes for this weekend, and hopefully every one that follows. We will update this every so often, so make sure you follow to our Spotify page.

We’ll also keep this around most days, just as a point of reference for that seasoned griller who can’t quite remember the temp for white fish…

At Meat Head Charcoal, our foundation is in the community we serve. Yeah, we make some pretty awesome premium, LUMP, charcoal. But we want to create more than that. We want to tell the stories of those entrepreneurs who had to take similar routes like us, those that are creating craft products that we believe in and want yall to hear about. It’s about gathering around the grill, bringing recipes we love, to you, products we love, to you and most of all, having a little fun in the in between.

We hope you stick around. And we hope you enjoy The Meat Platter.
