Beef {And Pork} Done Right!

The TeXGa Way!

Welcome back to another week of The Meat Platter. We are pumped to continue to have yall in our weekly rotation of recipes, grilling tips, music, local recommendations, and most importantly, to hear the stories of our bi-weekly featured entrepreneurs.

That’s really what The Meat Platter is all about, if you didn’t already know. Highlighting the stories of hard working individuals who took their dream and made it a reality.

We hope you’ll share us with your friends! And if you don’t want to share us, share these entrepreneurs stories. You can find our previous interviews over on our YouTube.

Did we reference the Meat Meter over the weekend? Why yes, we did! And you should, too!

This week, we are featuring our friends, Caroline and Kyle Lewallen of teXga Farms. They are as kind as they come and have completely immersed themselves in raising sustainable beef and pork products. A journey that Caroline saw long before teXga came to fruition, and Kyle’s determination to give back to the community they so love, teXga Farms was founded with one mission in mind.

We don’t want to give too much away here, but their interview is one we wouldn’t want to miss. It’s packed full of knowledge, and the strengths of a husband and wife team united in a mission. Caroline and Kyle have a way of playing off of one another to retell the story of teXga in a way that is refreshing and captivating to every audience.

If you missed our newsletter last week, we queued them up with our Smash Burger recipe. TeXga is a staple in our homes and we hope it will be in yours, too. After you wrap up here, head back over to save the step-by-step for those burgers- you won’t regret that, either!

PS- Caroline and Kyle can ship their products all over the country. So wether you stop by and pick up locally, or need beef delivered to your home out West, don’t miss an opportunity to give them a try.

If yall know us at all, it’s Dawg Country around our parts- and we can’t think of any better way to prepare for this week’s matchup against Alabama than with some teXga Farms beef or pork products.

We’ll be hollerin’ GOOOOOO DAWGS from the comfort of our living rooms this weekend, with some gameday apps using teXga beef no doubt! [might there by some tried and true gameday apps headed your way soon? check out our newsletters to come to find out!]

Speaking of game day, while you get yourself ready for that 7:30 EST kick off, if you’re feeling froggy, give this playlist a listen to get HYPED. Might we recommend using some earbuds if littles are present? Don’t say we didn’t warn ya.

We’ve got some kid friendly playlists too because the whole family deserves to have good taste in music. Subscribe to our Spotify to see what we are all about. There’s really something for everybody over there.

Why can’t you play football in the jungle?

——’Cause there’s too many cheetahs!
