Sauce Like A Boss
Discover the flavor that turns good BBQ into unforgettable BBQ.

Well, well. Another week, another Meat Platter newsletter. Welcome back!
We’ve got half our team slingin’ sauces and dog treats and the like over at America’s Mart this week, and the other half stayin’ put behind the scenes to bring you a hot, juicy newsletter!
First things first, we’ve got some new tunes in our July playlist and we’ve gotta say…it’s pretty damn 🔥. Takes you back to a time and place playlist. Makes you remember the simpler times playlist. Give it a go. We’ve got it on repeat for at least the next 3 weeks. 😏 […because there will be an August playlist by 08/01, duh].
We’ve decided to get a tad sentimental on yall for a minute to talk about our OG Meat Head Charcoal BBQ sauces this week. You may not know, but we are more than a charcoal brand. We have sauces, wood chunks, dog treats, a signature seasoning, merch- the general lineup for any grilling lifestyle brand, right?
In all seriousness, our signature sauces mean a lot to us. And we hope once you hear the story of how they came to be, you’ll at the very least want to give them a try. If you do, let us know what you think.

Sweet, Tangy, and Full of Heart
Pam Jam is where it all began. Inspired by our founder’s mom — the original queen of the cookout — this sauce is a tribute to Pam’s backyard magic. It’s ketchup-based, just the right amount of sweet, and a little tangy, just like her.
Every spoonful feels like summer on a paper plate. It’s not fancy — it’s familiar, comforting, and made to bring people back for more.
Try it with:
• Grilled Chicken or Pork Ribs- legit the perfect sauce for glazing
• Glazed Meatballs
• Stirred into Baked Beans for a sweet BBQ twist- the ultimate right here!
Same Love, Little More Attitude
Spicy Pam is everything you love about Pam Jam — with a slight heat that shows up late and stays awhile. It’s quickly become a crowd favorite and we understand why! Everything you love about the Pam Jam, with that tiny baby punch of cayenne. Don’t be a wuss! You’re a Meat Head after all.
It’s got warmth, fire, and a twinkle in its eye — just like Pam when she caught you sneaking a chip before dinner.
Try it with:
• Wings or Grilled Shrimp
• Brisket Sandwiches or Pulled Pork
• Brushed onto Grilled Corn for a spicy-sweet finish
Georgia’s Take on a Southern Legend
White BBQ sauces might’ve started in Alabama or the Carolinas- but The Motherload is our way of bringing something new (and seriously delicious) to the Georgia table. This mayo-based beauty is tangy, creamy, and outrageously good on just about anything.
It was born out of necessity — because we needed a sauce that could do it all. And this one does: dip it, drizzle it, marinate with it. If it’s edible, The Motherload makes it better.
Try it with:
• Grilled Chicken or really any Pork products
• As a dip for Chips, Wings, or Fried Pickles
• Spread on Burgers or Sandwiches
• As a marinade for anything headed to the grill
From our family to yours, these sauces were made for slow meals, shared stories, and licking your fingers when nobody’s watching. Fire up the grill — Pam would’ve wanted it that way.

Just in case you need that quick reference before you start dousing everything in sauce.
We are inching closer to launching our video series and getting pretty darn pumped about it. So stick around till mid-August or so if you don’t mind. It’s gonna be awesome. So many cool stories to tell and we are just getting started.
Until then, cheers. And here’s a dad joke for you to tell this week.
What did the ocean say to the beach?
Nothing. It just waved.
