Summer's Bounty
May is upon us and the backyard is calling us home.

This time of year encompasses so many things. Affectionately, we hear friends calling this month of May, “May-cember” as an ode to how busy the holiday season is. High school graduations are upon us, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, End of School programs and obligations.
On the other hand, it signals the start of summer and that’s something to get excited about. More time outside, longer days that bleed into even longer evenings, and time by the grill.
Hot of the Press: High Noon dropped a new limited time flavor: The Transfusion.
Their irresistible grape taste takes the tee, crafted with real juice and a hint of ginger and lime. Inspired by the classic drink enjoyed on the golf course. High Noon Transfusion is the perfect pairing for sunny days on the back nine.

Have you learned yet?
While we’ve been having some cooler mornings in north Georgia this week, we feel fairly confident that the Spring’s last frost is behind us. With that comes timed plantings for a bountiful summer harvest.
This Spring Fruits and Vegetables Guide for The South is something we reference regularly this time of year. But we will take it one step further. This is the window where the garden starts to pay off.
If you’re planting this week, here’s where to focus—
Core crops — reliable, productive, and actually worth the space.
Tomatoes (cherry, heirloom, slicers)
Peppers (bell, jalapeño, banana)
Cucumbers
Squash & Zucchini
Top 3 things to consider when you are planting this spring: Sunlight (6-8 hours minimum), Consistent Watering (not more, just a regular schedule), Spacing (it all needs more than you think). Most garden failures aren’t about what you planted — they’re about those three things.
Years ago, we were on the search for kitchen knives. As people who truly believe in work smarter, not harder, well crafted kitchen utensils are essential.
So we turned to the best- a chef and restauranteur friend that we knew would be able to guide us on this journey. Before you get worked up- we are believers in the Cutco knives of the world too. But from the perspective of investment, price point, and durability, there was really only one recommendation.
Japanese made, Global Knives will forever top our list. Their chef's knife is the multipurpose workhorse of the kitchen. Perfect for mincing, cutting, chopping, slicing and prep work.

Are we overcomplicating coolers these days? Does it matter that your cooler actually keeps things cold for days on end? I suppose if it’s your primary source for refrigeration, but otherwise, we stick pretty close to the soft coolers in the world. And I’m not even talking about the Hopper’s from Yeti (those zipper are rage inducing sometime).
Need to take a few brewskies to the beach for sundown? Packing a quick car lunch for the fam? Need to keep dessert cold between your house and your in-laws? Igloo Soft Coolers are GOAT’ed. We said what we said.
There are a million rubs and all purpose seasonings on the market. But for their supposed “inclusivity” of use, they tend to have some hyper-specific mix of herbs and spices that doesn’t quite hit the mark each time.
Enter: The Founder. A true, all purpose, preservative free, no MSG, no sugar, no bull seasoning. It can be used across proteins, roasted veggies, in dressings and soups- it checks the block for what you’d already pull out of the cabinet anyway.
And since we heard that The OG Founder of Meat Head’s b-day was upon us- we thought why not BOGO on our signature seasoning! Shop it through the site and add to cart with no discount code needed. Because we love you! Available through Sunday, May 3rd.

We are two seconds away from grabbing one of these. Have yall seen that ad where they lift the larger version out of the sand while the music is playing and there’s just sand pouring out of it?
Effective marketing. The name of the damn game.
Two days early, you know we are gonna launch our May playlist early. We can’t keep the devoted waiting! And as a nod to summer, it’s a mix perfect for the beach, boat, or mountains- just make sure there’s some sun involved.

I tried to organize a hide and seek tournament…
…but good players are really hard to find.
