The Meat and Potatoes of The Meat Platter
This is what it's ALL about!

It’s the first Thursday of August, and we’ve got a new newsletter fresh off the press for you guys!
It seems like you’re loving the August playlist- didn’t realize we had so many Yacht Rock fans— we like your style! 😎 And if you don’t know what we are talking about, head over to our Spotify and subscribe to our Meat Head Charcoal page. Killer tunes coming to ya every month, each playlist is a different vibe and we’ve got some epic mixes coming your way this Fall.
We are really excited about the newsletter this week. One, we love interacting with you guys and so appreciate the love and support you’ve shown us thus far. But more importantly, we are talking a little more in depth about what’s to come for The Meat Platter.
If you are new here, we started The Meat Platter for a variety of reasons. We wanted it to be a place where you could learn new recipes, hear good music, talk shop about grilling and the like, and most importantly, connect you to entrepreneurs in our space (and adjacent spaces) that have really awesome stories to tell.
We understand the struggles of small businesses. We continue to work through the “what’s next” of it all ourselves and have learned quickly, we are not in that boat alone.
We’ve got Meat Head Charcoal’s founder, David, talking about our vision for this space, what you can expect, and everything in between in our FIRST video of this series.
We hope this gets yall as excited about what’s to come as it does us! We are thrilled to be sharing the stories of these kind hearted, hard working, making the world a better place folks. Their stories are inspiring to us and we know they will make you feel the same way as we tell them throughout the newsletters to come.

Still here, your ever present hand to hold.
Lastly, a little refresher from our post last week. In case you missed it, you can always head back and re-read but for your convenience as summer winds down, here’s that epic Spiked Lemonade recipe. Trust us, it’s friggin’ delicious.

We didn’t forget your joke of the week, either.
What did the buffalo say at drop off?
Bison.
